An investigator with the Victorian UFO Research Society, VUFORS. Paul Norman served as its vice-president and went into the field on some of the state's strangest cases. Early 1973. He travelled with Maureen Puddy and Judith Magee to the place where Puddy said voices were calling her, and was present as she slipped into a trance. In 1980 he and Pat Gildea inspected the Rosedale landing site about two weeks after the event. Norman found no radiation. He also collected ground witness reports in the Valentich disappearance over Bass Strait. He had no doubt a UFO was the cause.
