Friday, 19 August 1966. Late afternoon, near Donnybrook, North Dakota. U.S. Border Patrol officer Don Flickinger watched a silvery disc with a dome come floating down the side of a hill. It wobbled like a falling leaf, about ten feet off the ground. It hovered. It settled within a few feet of the grass. Then it took off with a whoosh and vanished into the clouds. The next day he went back. Three holes sat in the ground in a triangle. Project Blue Book filed the case as unidentified. J. Allen Hynek walked the site himself.
