Michael Hesemann

A German researcher and author, Michael Hesemann turns up again and again where cosmonauts, contactees and hoaxes meet. In 2002 he showed a filmed interview with Vladimir Kovalyonok at the International UFO Congress in Laughlin, Nevada, and reproduced the cosmonaut's own sketch. His 1998 retelling of the Kapustin Yar sighting, with Voloshin's sketch, is the version most websites copy. He produced the documentary Ships of Light about Carlos Díaz, which won two EBE Awards. In the Kalahari crash hoax, he tracked down van Greunen. He also studied Elizabeth Klarer's photo sequence and noted a smooth flight path.
