A Russian newspaper, and a recurring channel for the strange. Its pages carried A. G. Pronin's account of a snowman in the Pamirs, most sources say on 15 January 1958. November 1964. The paper ran "The Mystery of Lake Khaiyr", a tale of a long-necked creature in a Yakutian lake. In 2007 it printed the twist: the supposed witness Gladkikh had admitted fabricating the whole event. The paper also covered the Molyobka zone in 1989 and, in April 2004, reported genetic results on the cloth that had wrapped the Kyshtym dwarf. Human, female, a premature infant.
