An island on the Chesapeake Bay, and one of the places where Chessie kept returning. In 1982 Robert Frew, a computer salesman, filmed something in the water at Love Point on Kent Island with Karen Frew. It was the first time the monster was caught on videotape. George Zug and colleagues at the Smithsonian reviewed the tape and found it "animate" but could not identify it. Kent Island produced reports again in 1984. Writing in the Bay Journal, Tom Horton linked the sightings to the rapid development that was swallowing the island.
