John Greenewald runs The Black Vault. Again and again, it is where the paper trail of a case ends up. November 25, 2022. He published an FAA report on the Kansas "Sea of Flashing Lights," passed to The Black Vault by an anonymous source. Under FOIA he obtained the air traffic control audio, then appealed over documents that appeared to be missing. In 2024 he reported that the Paul Villa flying saucer photographs had resurfaced in a Goddard Space Flight Center collection at the US National Archives. His site also archived the Daily Mail story of the 2012 Glasgow A320 near miss.
