Assistant to J. Allen Hynek, and once a secretary on Project Blue Book, Jennie Zeidman became one of the Center for UFO Studies' working investigators. After the Coyne Helicopter Incident of 1973, she interviewed each crewman in person and tracked down the ground witnesses. In 1975 she wrote The Lumberton Report. It drew together interviews, timelines, maps and news coverage of the North Carolina wave. She also looked back at Project Blue Book Special Report No. 14. There she traced Battelle's hidden role and tied the group to Project Stork.
