Jan Aldrich

A researcher with Project 1947, Jan Aldrich went looking for the paper trail. He compiled NavCat, the project's catalogue of UFO reports from seagoing services. One of those reports is the 1945 case of the Army transport Delarof, where a large round object was seen rising from the sea near Adak and circling the ship. Decades after 1952, he traced the documents behind the Korean B-29 orange globe sightings. He also got hold of the USAF accident report on the 1954 Walesville F-94C crash. Military accident reports were confidential at the time. His copy was reproduced in Clear Intent in 1984.
