Bob Pratt was a journalist with the National Enquirer and an investigator for APRO. In 1976 he took up the Elmwood case with Jack Bostrak, and his piece on it ran in the Enquirer that June. Critics of the Tehran incident note that many of its details came through him. In Bolivia he spent three weeks chasing the Tarija fallen object. He never reached the site, and he later rebutted the misinformation around the story. In 1993 he judged José Higgins's 1947 encounter at Goio-Bang credible.
