Sighting record / 1968
September 1968. Victoria, British Columbia. Hermanus Voorluys and Reginald Neal kept noticing a light at night over the naval base at Esquimalt. It never stayed the same. It changed colour, from blue to orange to red. It moved in spasmodic jerks above the base. Then they aimed a telephoto lens at it. On 29 September 1968, they got their picture. They were surprised by what it showed. The light was not one light at all. It was a formation of five objects. The two men reported it to the navy. A succession of interviews followed. No clear conclusion was ever reached.
