June 1925. Davie County, North Carolina. James Pinkney "Pink" Chaffin saw his dead father standing at his bedside. The old farmer wore his black overcoat. He pulled it open and spoke. "You will find my will in my overcoat pocket." Inside a pocket sewn shut, Pink found a note pointing to Genesis 27 in an old family Bible. There, folded into the pages, was a second will. It divided the farm equally among four sons. A court case followed. So did the Society for Psychical Research. A century on, the question is still open. A ghost with a mission, a buried memory, or a forgery?
