Tuesday, 13 September 1966. About 7:30 in the morning. On a farm near Gwinner, North Dakota, 11-year-old Randy Rotenberger was waiting for the school bus. He saw flashing lights. He thought it might be an airplane. But it "didn't make the right kind of noise." Then the object became distinct. Silver. Like two bowls put together, with a clear bubble on top. It came almost straight down into the plowed field, 300 yards from the house. Randy ran inside and got his gun. Minutes later the thing went straight up and was gone. It left three pressed holes in a triangle. Project Blue Book filed it as Unidentified.
