Sighting record / 2005
June 2005. Around midnight, under a cloudy sky, three white objects were seen flying above the east end of Glasgow. In Baillieston, a man said he heard spaceman-esque voices through his electronic equipment. Far to the south, in Wiltshire, a man was out cycling near Lockeridge. It was the evening of 21 June. Broad daylight. He saw three white metallic craft hovering over a wheat field. For three or four minutes they made random trails down the hillside. His verdict was blunt. "I have no doubt whatsoever that we are being visited by other levels of intelligence."
The summer of 2005. On a BBC Wiltshire page called "Moonraking: Spooky Stuff: UFOs", readers left their own encounters in the comments. Two stories from that month have travelled furthest, one from Scotland and one from Wiltshire. Neither witness was named, and nobody knows whether the two sightings happened on the same day. What connects them is the month, and the number three.
