Paranormal record / 1992
August 31, 1992. Cold Spring, Kentucky. A visionary had named the night and the hour. The Virgin Mary, she said, would come to St. Joseph Church at midnight. All day, the crowds kept coming. About 1,000 people filled the church. Some 8,000 more waited outside, praying the rosary. Midnight came. One woman heard thunder and saw a light. Others saw flashing lights, a figure in the pine trees, a statue that seemed to weep. Many saw nothing at all. That Tuesday, Bishop William Hughes of Covington gave his verdict. Nothing of a miraculous nature, he said, had occurred inside the church.
