An illustrator with a recurring role in Italian sightings. Walter Molino painted covers for La Domenica del Corriere, giving three of the archive's cases a lasting image. 3 October 1954. His cover showed the half-cigar seen over Ciampino and Pratica di Mare. It was an artist's impression, not a photograph, yet it fixed the craft in Italian memory. Weeks later, on 14 November 1954, he painted the Cennina landing reported by Rosa Lotti Dainelli. On 28 October 1962, his brush turned to Eugenio Siragusa's claimed meetings on Mount Etna.
