A town in the hills above Genoa, on unlit mountain roads iced by freezing rime fog. The night of 6 December 1978, at Marzano, a hamlet of Torriglia, night watchman Pier Fortunato Zanfretta saw four small lights in the garden of the villa "Casa Nostra." He was found over an hour later, in shock, his body warm on a freezing night. Brigadier Antonio Nucchi of the Carabinieri at Torriglia took 52 statements about a bright, flat, triangular object between Torriglia and Propata. National Geographic filmed there for UFO Europe in 2012, and the town now hosts the Torriglia UFO Convention.
