An RAF station in north Wales, on the island of Anglesey. It turns up in the archive more than once. In 1974, after the Berwyn Mountain incident, RAF Valley joined police and mountain rescue teams in the search. They found no crater and no wreckage. In 1977 a schoolgirl named Gwawr wrote to its Commanding Officer about the Rhosybol netball lesson sighting, and the station passed her report to the MoD desk S4 (Air) with no explanation to offer. Then 2001. A search and rescue helicopter from RAF Valley swept the fog over Snaefell on the Isle of Man.
