A mountain in Albania, and the setting of one of the country's best known UFO cases. The 1960s. A MiG-19 met a glittering sphere over Mount Tomorr. The jets were scrambled from Kuçova. The incident sits on Albania's list of UFO reports after Mihal Grameno's account from 1907 and a sighting at Vlorë in 1933. Accounts of the case also place MiG-19s in Albanian service around January 1963, when a bright object appeared over Kallamishtëz. Writers on the Roskovec landing of 2006 recall it as part of the country's long record of strange skies.
