This Central Intelligence Agency intelligence information report, dated April 1972, relays unevaluated information from a US citizen about the Conference on the Origins of Life in Yerevan, Armenia, held 6 to 8 September 1971. It describes a speculative paper by N. S. Kardashev and Andrei Sakharov on how a charged mass collapsing in space might bounce back into a different part of space time. A US attendee found the paper somewhat fantastic but grounded in sound physics.
