The monster summers
Between 1971 and 1973 small-town America was full of things that should not have been there. Momo stank out a Missouri river town, two Loveland policemen met a frog that stood on its hind legs, a hairy creature attacked a house at Fouke, Arkansas, and the Enfield Horror had three legs. Sheriffs organised hunts. Nothing was ever caught.
