Sighting record / 1994
December 14, 1994. Just after midnight, the 911 lines in Trumbull County, Ohio, began to ring. Callers described a silent, bluish-green object flying low. Then something enormous hovered over the houses of Liberty Township. It pulsed red. It shifted from white to red to green. It lit up the ground as if daylight. Officers from departments across the county joined the chase. One sergeant said his squad car died beneath it. A lieutenant climbed an old radar tower and counted three objects in a triangle. The airport tower saw nothing on radar. And all of it went onto the county's dispatch tapes. About six hours of them.
