Encounter record / 1983
December 14, 1983. Antônio Nelso Tasca was driving alone towards Chapecó, in southern Brazil, when he felt a strange command to turn onto a dirt road. Ahead, a grey object with a row of lit windows hovered about a metre above the ground. Waves of heat pushed him back towards his car. Then a band of light reached his feet. He woke about ten hours later on a roadside slope. His watch had stopped at 10:05. Between his shoulder blades was a painless W-shaped mark. In between, he said, a small woman named Cabalá, messenger of the world of Agali, had spoken to him without moving her lips and given him a message for humanity.
