A researcher who went back to the witnesses. Mark Opsasnick wrote for Strange Magazine and authored The Maryland Bigfoot Digest. For the 1949 exorcism of Roland Doe, he interviewed 102 people. A neighbour described beds on wheels with wire springs, and Opsasnick concluded the boy was a very clever trickster. In 1994 he spoke again with April Edwards, who still held that something real had killed her dog during the 1971 Maryland Goatman scare. His name also appears in the story of the Sykesville Monster, the 1973 Maryland Bigfoot flap.
