A Mexican journalist, TV presenter and ufologist, Jaime Maussan stood behind many of the region's best known cases. In the early 1990s he gave Carlos Díaz a video camera and arranged private analyses of the footage. During the eclipse of 1991 he aired a viewer's tape on 60 Minutos. The phone lines lit up. In 2004 he received the Campeche FLIR recordings directly from SEDENA. At the 2015 BeWitness event he presented the Roswell Slides, and later called the deblurring a hoax. September 2023. He testified under oath before Mexican lawmakers beside two small mummified bodies.
