SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE TEXAS Jan. 19, 1955 Dear Sir: I am a regular Airman going into Air Force Intelligence. I must admit that the main reason or one of the main reasons I came into the Air Force was so I could go behind the scenes and see the Utah Films. I'm sure, sir, you have heard of the Utah films taken by Warrant Officer Delbert C. Newhouse at 11:10 A.M. on July 2, 1952 showing the Air Force that they had the proof that Flying Saucers, or Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO) were real. This proof, the Air Force had been waiting for since June 24, 1947 when Kenneth Arnold set off the "Flying Saucer" uproar. Sir, I'm a citizen of the United States, the greatest country in the world, and I love my country and the people in it and I believe like most Americans in knowing the facts. I would like to see the film, sir, because, going into Air Force Intelligence, I am most interested in the Flying Objects which have been observing our country for the past 8 years. Please help me in my request, sir, and NW 91198 DocId:34745775 Page 52
