This file contains correspondence relating to Project Blue Book, a 1952-1969 U.S. Air Force program to investigate the nature and origin of unidentified flying objects (UFO). The correspondence includes letters and memoranda sent between various departments and agencies of the U.S. Government, the Legislative Branch, and private citizens concerning UFO sightings and the research and findings of Project Blue Book.

MEMORANDUM FOR AFOIN-4
SUBJECT: Project Blue Book (Project No. 10073)
1. Twenty one (21) copies of subject report forwarded your center this date under separate cover.
2. The remaining four (4) copies, of the original twenty five (25) forwarded to this Headquarters, are accounted for as follows:
One (1) copy retained by OIN-X (Lt. Col. Johnson)
One (1) copy inadvertently destroyed by OIN-2X
One (1) copy each is being recalled from the files of OIN-3X and OIN-1B3 and will be forwarded when made available to this office.
3. Distribution remains the same as previously furnished your center on 13 September 1955.
