Dear Mr. Gilby:
Thank you for your recent letter which described your observation of unidentified flying objects.
For the past several years the Air Force has had a major active program in this area and information such as yours submitted on a voluntary basis is extremely helpful. This information has been turned over to our analysts for further evaluation.
For your convenience, I am attaching a copy of "U. S. Air Force Summary of Events and Information Concerning the Unidentified Flying Object Program" which compiles all of the latest facts established by the Air Force in this program.
Very truly yours,
