The line of flight appeared flat and the object appeared from the Northeast going southwest. Altitude was between 3,000 and 4,000 ft. There was no audible noise although it was a quiet night and the object appeared close in at an angle to the horizon of about 45°. Although the sky was clear and the moon was bright nothing but the light was seen.
