This FBI file on Daniel Fry, released under FOI/PA with 33 pages withheld, collects 1963 memoranda between the New York and Los Angeles field offices. Los Angeles reported that Fry was president of the Understanding movement and was trying to set up a utopian community at Merlin, Oregon, and it enclosed his book "The White Sands Incident".
