A review of Norfolk files reflects that
BRYANT directed a letter to the Commanding Officer,
Cape Charles Air Force Station, Cape Charles, Virginia,
8/7/58, requesting information concerning unidentified
flying objects (UFO) . A copy of that correspondence
was directed to the FBI, Norfolk, by Cape Charles
Air Force Station officials .
Records also reflect that BRYANT had directed fa letter to the FBI, 2/1/59, which correspondence
was answered by the Bureau, 2/9/59 . BRYANT directed
a letter to Commanding Officer, Headquarters , Aircraft
Fleet, Marine Force Atlantic, U. S . Naval Base, Norfol k,
Virginia, 6/15/60, requesting i-&formatio_n concerning
UFOs . That agency submitted~ copy of that correspondence

a letter to Commander, U. S . Naval Base, Norfolk, Virginia,
8/8/63, concerning restrictions that command has
against the publicizing of flying saucer sighting reports
made by Navy personnel . A copy of this correspondence
was directed to the FBI Office, Norfolk, Virginia.
