Dear Captain Goddard:
Thank you very much for your co-operation in investigating the recent report of an incident on the farm of Mr. Hansen. It is very helpful to have someone run these things down to earth. I am afraid that the more I study this field, the more I realize how much hoaxing has occurred on the part of pranksters and publicity seekers. Please pass on my thanks to those who assisted you in this matter.
Sincerely yours,
Peter M. Millman
