13-00000 Kerningrad, Kiewia U.S.A. Dear Mrs. King: While on this East European Churchmen's Study Tour, I visited a little town in East Germany, called Herschut. The Moravian Church (Oldest in Herschut) officials, hosted our group during our visit there. I saw your husband's books on sale in their one good Bookstore. A young man who is head of the youth work in Herschut, informed us that they are setting up a room in the Youth Center, in memory of Dr. King. He wanted your address so that he could write and let you know what they were doing and the respect they have for Dr. King's memory. I gave him your address, so I am writing to let you know that, if you haven't heard from him yet, you will be receiving communications from, Dietrich Heine, 89 Horitz D.D.R., Bautzener Str. 38, and you will be aware of what is happening in this small Eastern Germany Town, a population of only 2,000. Respectfully, Bernice V. Robinson 22 Dewey Street Charleston, S.C. 29403
