MEMORANDUM FOR: THE RECORD
SUBJECT : MKULTRA, Subproject No. 52
1. The purpose of this subproject is to provide additional funds whereby Dr. [redacted] may continue to provide professional services involving specialized consultation and supervision of preparative work upon request and procurement of various natural product materials of special interest to TSD.
2. Dr. [redacted] maintains a fiction that the products he collects are for his own use since his field of interest is in natural product chemistry. In order for Dr. [redacted] to continue his activity without jeopardizing his cover it is necessary for him to follow his established investigative and procurement procedures.
3. It is estimated that the additional costs of this program will be $5,000.00 for a period of one year. Charges should be made against allotment No. 2125-1390-3902.
