This NICAP compilation gathers National Military Command Center memoranda, DDO updates and OPREP-3 messages from October and November 1975 reporting unidentified helicopters and low-flying aircraft near weapons storage areas at Loring AFB, Maine and Wurtsmith AFB, Michigan, plus radar and visual UFO contacts at Malmstrom AFB, Montana. Pursuit attempts by an Army National Guard helicopter and a KC-135 tanker failed. The file also includes a 1976 USDAO Tehran report on an F-4 encounter, 1965 Blue Book statistics and an American Meteor Society fireball form.

MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

Subject: Report of UFO - Cannon AFB NM

Reference: AFOC Phonecon 21055 EST Jan 76

The following information was received from the Air Force Operations Center at 0555 EST:

"Two UFOs are reported near the flight line at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. Security Police observing them reported the UFOs to be 25 yards in diameter, gold or silver in color with blue light on top, hole in the middle and red light on bottom. Air Force is checking with radar. "Additionally, checking weather inversion data."
