Mr. M. W. Corey 2 March 28, 1968 seems to bear out this hypothesis. Thank you for your interest in submitting these observations for study. Sincerely yours, Peter M. Millman Head of Upper Atmosphere Research P.M./wm c.c. Mr. A. F. McQuarrie P.S. By the way, you should tell your friends not to get frightened by what they see in the sky. We have never had any evidence of dangerous things in the sky apart from man-made aircraft during war and the possibility of being struck by lightning in a thunderstorm. Meteorites do fall but the chance of one hitting a person is extremely remote, and the authentic cases of such an event in the whole history of the human race can be counted on the fingers of one hand.
